However, what I value most is her wide open heart as she genuinely listens for as long as it takes to get a full picture of my concerns. Then instead of ordering a bunch of tests and handing out pills to put a band aid on, she takes the time to digest the visit and then recommend a course of action.

Her bedside manner is upbeat, so friendly and full of life. She lights up our Mom's room when she enters, despite less than optimal circumstances. She is responsive and so caring. Issues created new issues, challenges became barriers, and I had all but given up on ever feeling well again. But when I met Dr. G through the recommendation of a friend, my life nearly immediately changed for the better. Our first discussion was all it took for me to realize that I was not a lost cause. There is someone in this world who has a genuine passion for helping people and the capability of excelling at it. She truly saved my life, and I can not state that enough. 6 months later I am, while still on a long road, doing better than I have ever done in my life. Not my adult life, not my recent life, but my ENTIRE life. She listened with an empathetic ear and attacked my health concerns with an enthusiasm that truly inspired me. She is very knowledgeable and willing to explain all the options for a given treatment/wellness path so you can make an informed decision about your own health. The DPC model is really a model for what health care should be.

Most doctors spend just minutes with you and then order a battery of tests and the appointment is over. I believe a person knows their body well and with some quality time and pointed questioning the real issues can be identified and then a course of action can be implemented. It is truly refreshing to be heard and not intimidated by the process of health care. Add to that, the understanding that not every solution is the next pill, and I feel I have been given a very valuable gift being accepted by Dr G as my doctor.

I've never seen another doctor advocating for preventative health the way she does. When I had to get blood tests, she made sure it was at the exact rates charged to her practice (over 90% off the cash pay price!). During the recent COVID scare she has been a calming guide to the real information, and came out to her parking lot in the rain to administer the test when I had symptoms. Overall, signing up has provided me peace of mind at a time the rest of the medical system seems upside down.
